ATHENS - 9 October 2016 - The Pantheanic Stadium is the world's only stadium built totally out of marble. It was initially built for the Panathenaic Games in about 330BC. IT was then rebuilt in Marble in 144 AD, fell into disrepair before being excavated and repaired in 1869. It was used for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896 and again 108 years later when the Olympics were held in Athens in 2004. Picture: Ryan Eyer
